Here's my agapornis, they're called lovebirds because once it found a partner, it keeps the partner until the death and they always fly together. Here's a picture of some: [link]

These birds are very kind and need a lot of love. I had one called "Cloud" that passed away some years ago, and I believe it was because he didn't have another little bird to play with, even that I gave him all my love =/.
He was a lovely bird and he used to fly freely(yes, it didn't run away!) and come back to my shoulder. You can see in this old and bad picture of us: [link]

But I understand that now and will remember it when I plan to have another. Right now I can't have because of my cat. Well, this one is about 13cm long, so it's life-sized. There's wire inside his little toes and legs, that I made with a 1.0mm hook and he stands by himself. His beak is also made with a 1.0mm hook and this very thin yarn.

I'll take more pictures when I make another one, just can't decide the color yet. This one is an Agapornis roseicollis and in this [link] you can see the possible colors of this species. What do you think? Should I make in the same color or not? If not, what color should I use now? xD
