Description wanted to just paint without any preconceived ideas, or line art...just paint and let the brush flow ....and I wanted it blue..


she came out, standing on the edge..not sure what brought her there..her scarf..or is it her handkerchief was blown by the wind ..and she realised where she was and pulled herself back...and yet still looks at it..was it a gift? the significance of her loss sinks in...

feel the same way sometimes, but for different reasons, of course.

I hate choosing categories..could have been surreal, landscape and scenery or fantasy..stuck to the latter..


For my best friends Nazirah Hasnan and Zafarina Yassin who were there for the better part of 24 years *gasp*

I like the simplicity and beauty of this image, it's very quiet and yet deep. It reminds me a little of my experience standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon, of toeing the edge of a literal abyss and feeling so very small. Had the day just been a little snowier, it would have looked much like this image.

Beautiful, I love deep clear colors! Sky, rock and the kerchief look fantastic. I also love the girl's hair.

Thank you very much. I just wanted the clear colours and used just artist oils in Painter. No airbrush at all. Really enjoyed myself. Glad you like it too.
