Light and shading practice..A good reference can really do wonders doesn't it? Eyeball copy of an advertisement pamphlet; made some changes with the right hand position, and hair..
the bow appears shorter because of foreshortening effect..
On another note thanks for all the llama badges, you guys!!
I'm pretty much stuck with crappy internet connection, which the dA server can't agree with so that limits my browsing, interacting or even faving..!!! should see my deviation messages..its gonna hit 1k soon I think...

You did a lovely job on the left hand, the right I'd alter a bit and make the bow a bit longer as well. I use to play the violin that's why...

Actually its not the length of the bow, its the angle..there is shortening because the hand is actually held quite away from the body..so it should appear smaller at the lower end....
..hmm I'll eyeball it somemore..
