Description
“Silver’s missing.”

All the eyes of the elite trainers widened. Each respective team looked at each other. So many questions coursed through their brain.

Is this Team Rocket’s doing?

If so, why did they target Silver?

What will they do with him?

Or even worse, what will they make him do?

Out of all the 10 trainers, only Green, Red and Kotone knew Silver’s true parentage. Red found out while he shut down Team Rocket for the first time. ‘Giovanni’s kid has red hair’- was what one of the Rocket scientists told him. And when Red met Silver, with the slight facial resemblances he connected the dots. Soon enough, Green picked up on it too.

“Crap, this is bad…” Sapphire mumbled, concerned about the missing team mate.

“Right you are blueberry. This is pretty bad.” Proton said, smirking.

“Ugh, has your hair ever met a comb?” Ruby squinted in disgust.

“I’m not here to talk hair. I’m here to kick your ass. And my hair is awesome thank you very much.” Proton retorted, narrowing his eyes in a slight flare of anger.

Ruby released his Gardevoir, and Sapphire released her Lanturn.

Suddenly Proton threw 2 Pokéballs into the air.

“Goool!”

“Baaaaaat!”

Two Golbats emerged from the respective Pokéballs. Sapphire and Ruby were completely taken aback. These Golbats were much larger than regular Golbats. They were more muscular, their wings flapped even faster, and their eyes were a bright red glow.

“They’re the altered clones…” Ruby said unconsciously.

“Right you are!” Proton chuckled maniacally.

“You monster!” Sapphire growled.

Proton raised his hand into the air. “Go!” he commanded, the two Golbats lunged forward.

“Yes! I am a monster!”

“You shouldn’t smoke, you know. It’s bad for your health.” N said.

“Worried for me, are you? How sweet. But a little piece of advice, you should be worrying more about yourself.” Petrel said, chuckling.

“What a joke. We can destroy you in our sleep.” White said, her blue orbs reflecting her determination.

“A lot of confidence there. Are you sure you can back it up?” Petrel said, blowing another puff of smoke from his cigarette.

“Positive.” White smirked.

Then Petrel reached for his belt and pulled out two Pokéballs. Throwing them into the air, two large Weezings came out.

Both N and White froze in shock. The sheer enormity of the Weezings intimidated them. Suddenly, these Weezings started producing smoke. The gas clouded the entire atmosphere, making it hard to breathe and see. The only things that were recognizable were the red-glowing eyes of the clones. Then suddenly, they heard Petrel’s voice.

“Oh, I doubt that.”

Kotone looked around the vast inner caves of the Cerulean Mountain. She called out Umbreon. Umbreon was an expert at sensing other people’s presences even through thick surfaces such as walls or even in the floors below.

With Umbreon leading the way, Kotone swiftly followed.

Hikari and Jun stared at the enormous size and length of Arianna’s Arbok.

Hikari’s Straptor was out, as well as Jun’s Torterra.

“What’s wrong, little ones? Does Medusa scare you?” Arianna tilted her head to the right, her Arbok casually slithering by her side.

With its eyes gleaming red, Arbok flashed its fangs. Drops of toxic poison dripped from its teeth and fell to the floor.

Much to the horror of Jun and Hikari, the poison actually corroded the ground on which the droplets fell.

With a sinister smile from Arianna, ‘Medusa’ quickly lunged at both Jun and Hikari. With blinding speed and agility, it slammed the two trainers with its tail.

The two flew back, scratching the rough terrain as they landed. Straptor and Torterra quickly shielded their trainers, with Arbok merely smiling.

“Go on, Medusa…” Arianna started.

Medusa’s eyes glowed even brighter, and its smile stretched even wider as Arianna said it’s most beloved words.

“Dinner time.”

Two Houndooms were loyally standing next to its trainer. The Houndooms were even taller than their trainer himself, growling dangerously.

“Not only did you clone the legendary Pokémon, but you cloned your own Pokémon as well. You guys are really willing to do anything.” Green looked at Archer is disgust.

“Now, now child. Don’t be so judgemental. If you used our normal Pokémon the two on one battle with you against us would result in a quick loss. But if we genetically altered our Pokémon to be stronger, faster and smarter, we wouldn’t have such a hard time beating you. As a matter of fact, my win against the two of you is guaranteed.” Archer wore a twisted grin.

“Hah, please. You challenged the Viridian City gym leader and his trusty Pokémon Master sidekick! Do you really think you can win?” Green said with exuberating confidence, smirking pridefully.

With the two hell hounds walking in front of Archer, ready for a battle, the blue-haired executive said:

“Oh, I know I can.”

Kotone loved her Umbreon more than ever as the Moonlight Pokémon led her to the jackpot.

Kotone had found Rocket Control. The HQ was basically a huge metal corridor with many rooms built into the rocky interior of the mountain. Not knowing which room to head into, Umbreon sensed the presence of two people in one of the rooms.

Kotone busted open the door to find two rocket grunts sitting in front of multiple computer screens.

“What the hell?!” One of them screamed.

Before they could release their Pokémon, Kotone ordered Ampharos to use thunderbolt. Ampharos adjusted the voltage so that the grunts were only knocked unconscious, and not killed.

Kotone quickly sat to see the computers. On the screens were the DNA profiling of each of the cloned legendaries. Kotone quickly contacted Lance.

‘Okay, Kotone I need you to enable the Wifi-port. We should be able to hack into their systems that way.'

“Got it… hold on.” Kotone quickly clicked a few icons and opened their wifi-port.

‘Alright, we got it! We’ve disabled the particle beam and we copied all the contents of their hard drive. We’ll get the DNA profiling to a few professors to study; hopefully we can find a weak spot in those legendaries.’ Lance informed.

Kotone breathed a sigh of relief. Okay, one of the major components of their mission was down. She spoke into her ear piece.

“Take a deep breath you guys; we took down the particle beam.”

Green let out a chuckle.

“You’re not that bad!” He said, as one of Archer’s Houndooms roughly pushed his Rhyperior and the other slammed Red’s Snorlax.

Green knew the damage his Pokémon had taken was extensive. But hearing that the beam had been shut down, ignited his confidence.

“Team Rocket will never make it.” He said, smirking.

Archer just smiled. “This is just the beginning.”

Silver groggily opened his eyes. The last thing he remembered was falling down a crack with Kotone… and then getting knocked unconscious. But just before he blacked out, he saw some odd purplish light…?

Still sluggish, he found himself sitting in an office? On a sofa?

‘Just what the hell-’

“It’s been a while…”

Silver froze. He felt like it took all his energy just to turn his head towards the voice. Silver found himself unable to move once he saw the man sitting on the desk right from across his view.

“Son.”
