Description The Japanese characters say "Hana tenshi Yotsuba" ("Flower angel Yotsuba"). This was inspired by Yotsuba's flower cupid costume in Chapter 18 of the Yotsuba&! manga, and was drawn as a Christmas present for one of my sisters; since the drawing wouldn't fit on my scanner I took a photograph and altered it a little here, lightening the background and whites of the eyes, replacing the skin shading with a darker color, and replacing the hand-lettering.

Thank you. These Christmas pictures are pretty much the only drawings I hand-color any more, and while I'm not great at coloring they do remind me that your own amazing hand-coloring must be a lot of work.

i thought the hair looked colored by hand-did you use marker? but yes, hand-coloring makes it so much more personal.

Since I don't color often, I just used whatever was handy including markers, highlighter pens and pencils; the original skin color was from a Sakura Coupy Pencil but I replaced it with digital color.
