Description As with Pregnant explorer Karina , I imagine Karina here is carrying multiples rather than just one fetus, since it wouldn't be prudent to fly a mission when she might pop any day (and especially when she's operating a one-person scoutship).  The scenario here is that Karina has left her ship to recover an astrometric probe which she had left in orbit around the nearby gas giant before diving her ship into the planet's atmosphere to skim hydrogen fuel; the probe would normally be able to maneuver back aboard the scoutship under its own power, but a chance collision with a meteoroid has rendered it inoperative.  The particular type of ship shown here (a Type S scout/courier) is the same type shown in Mijii and her starship , a workhorse of the Imperial Interstellar Scout Service just big enough to carry a faster-than-light drive, but also just small enough to be operated by a single pilot.  [The scout/courier, Scout Service and Imperial Sunburst are all part of the Traveller RPG, which I do not own.] (Edit 5/17/2020: randomization of star field increased.)

I've got Star Wars on the mind. I was thinking "That's no moon."

Since Karina, her ship and the probe are all orbiting the gas giant, I suppose they could all be considered moons (albeit temporary, and certainly none of them are space stations).

Oops, and I meant the space object, not the belly.

I like the monochrome.  It gives the impression the events are far away from the planet's star.

Along those lines, I also thought it might suggest the cold of space.
