Description
Victory-class ships were incredibly valuable assets to the navies they belonged to. As such, despite their impressive offensive capabilities, they were usually assigned to the rear of formations providing cover fire and fighter escorts for the rest of the fleet. If it had to, a Victory could engage in ship-to-ship combat and could, more often than not, expect to emerge victorious. However, they were difficult to manufacture and costly to maintain, strongly discouraging them from engaging in direct confrontations.
