yaay finally done! i've been working on this since last year lol....sorry bad new years humor...i know i know i'm not funny
anyway i really don't want to know how long i spent on this, too much time for sure...there's like 17 layers, what i think is a lot
used: photo ref & photoshop pen-tool

i stopped doing them because i wanted to do something more creative than just redrawing photos lol but i think they did help alot in really learning the pen-tool XD

vector art is basically non-pixel based art, it's created with lines and shapes rather then individual pixels so that when you zoom in on it it won't pixelate

Really, what you do is time consuming-ly amazing. It really shows with the amount of detail you put into these pieces. But I wonder, do you trace the reference picture with pen and then vector? (doesn't know the technical terms of vectoring) Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see more in the future~

it's sort of like that, i am bad to explain but i'll try. It's like pulling points on a line to create shapes, and i like to work just with shadows instead of actually drawing any highlights so it's just drawing the shapes of the shadows....if that makes any sense

i suppose it probably would make more sense to work in illustrator...if i had it lol, but i'm so used to photoshop i can't quite get the hang of illustrator right everytime i open it
