I was going to do a whole Decepticons line-up but I realized they weren't really turning out very well. So I surrendered to my arch-nemesis the straight line...Here's what I finished anyway.
Pen and ink colored in photoshop with the pen-tool.

Yeah, I look forward to seeing the new Soundwave in action and hope he resumes his old role as Meg's prized underling from G1 (its just not the decepticons without the big three, Megs, screamer, and soundwave, lol). Wish Skywarp and Thundercracker had returned too, but i understand that they probably wanted to add more variety to the villain's cast instead of making three nearly identical jet transformers (i like the new Blitzwing and was pleasantly surprise to see Blackarachnia on the team in a form closely resembling her old TM2 self). kinda stinks they took Optimus's big ass gun away, but his battle ax ROCKS! What do you think of the new motor cycle prowl?
I've been fiddling around with the idea of doing a beast wars fanfic series that tells the aftermath of beast wars the way it SHOULD have been done, lol. but been procrastinating too much and having trouble with coming up with good beast modes for characters (narrowing it down slowly, lol)

I'm looking forward to seeing more of the Decepticons in general in the Transformers Animated series. From what they showed so far they all seem pretty cool.
I'm not too sure about the new Prowl. The whole ninja bot thing is kind of cool, though I'm not really sure why someone like him would have been a space-bridge repair bot. I really don't like his voice either, it seems horribly ill-suited to the character.
A good sequel to Beast Wars would be awesome. I actually sort of thought it was the kind of show that didn't really leave itself open for a sequel though. (Which was one of the biggest problems with Beast Machines, it was simply unnecessary) The series ended well, it tied up loose ends and just generally ended the way a series like that should end. A sequel with completly different characters might be interesting but I think doing too much more with the surviving Beast Wars cast would be detrimental to their characters. Unless of course it was the amazing King Waspinator's earth adventures lol.

Yeah, I think the new Prowl looks cool, but some fans may take offense to naming this guy after the original Prowl since they really have nothing in common in either appearance or personality (they could have easily have named him something else, then again, it doesn't bother me as much since I was never a big Prowl fan during G1 and can't recall him doing much). as to what he is doing on the space bridge repair crew, I bet its some kind of punishment. Like Optimus, Prowl seems much more battle oriented than the rest of the crew, which to me is an indication that he may have started off as an elite soldier or special agent, but did something to warrant a demotion. He has trouble with working as part of team, so maybe he did something that resulted in disaster for an old team he belonged to, or perhaps he was betrayed by an old teammate and was demoted, or simply quit to escape the pain. Optimus clearly was destined for greater things since he clearly has soldier training, but judging from Sentinel Prime's and Ultra Magnus' behavior, I'm guessing something bad happened during his academy days to warrant a demotion. Ratchet probably became a repair bot because he wanted an easy job away from the battlefield after the end of the Great War, or he was sent there to keep him out of the way (discrimination against the old or something like that). we'll learn the truth soon enough i guess! (:

A truly badass pic of Soundwave, one of my all time fave Deceptcions! Coolest voice ever! i don't get why megs didn't appoint Soundwave second in command over Starscream, he was by far his most loyal soldier and much more competent than screamer (who spent more time trying to off Megs than the autobots, lol). I also hate how Soundwave didn't appear in the new movie (they totally butchered most of the classic decepticons in that movie, the only ones I really liked were the new guys Blackout and Barricade, cause they originals movie characters). I heard that Soundwave will appear in the new Transformers animated series though, so thats cool

Soundwave was always an awesome character, I still prefer Starscream as second though. Cool as Soundwave was, he never seemed like much of a leader, more content to serve in Megatron's shadow. At least Starscream was ambitious, overly so but still ambitious.
Have you seen Soundwave's design for the Transformers Animated? Laserbeak is his guitar, it should rock quite literally XD

this is really cool but I think it could benefit from brighter colors, to really bring out the shapes and the angles and separate him from the background. Just an opinion mind you, but Transformers always seem to be drawn very bright and vibrantly and I think it works really well for them. Its like...you don't really see cars advertised in low light, they want to bring out the colors and the awesomeness. Either way its a fav.
