It's not nearly as smooth and neat as the drawing, but here's my attempt 
It can be quite difficult to get it right because you need a ton of props to create smooth-ish surfaces.

Wow , steam punk that looks believable , excellent . I don't expect the steam punk stuff to work just look like it could , that is what makes some projects so much better then others . The ones that may be very complicated with much hard work involved but have no internal logic . You often see photos of people carrying around all this stuff that would only get in the way of thier stated profession .
