Highly effective combination of pictures, and b/w & color. To me, it conveys the disjoint (disjunct?) between Jareth and Sarah, yet the desire to bring it all together. Since we don't see anybody's eyes, they can't yet see eye to eye, but for different reasons.

Ahh! What a great comment thank you! In my interpretation of Jareth and Sarah, one of their most fundamental problems is that neither of them is willing to admit they might be wrong and therefore they can never see eye to eye. Everything they've done has been in their minds kind but to the other's cruel.
