So my really good friend, Will Shewfelt, was cast as Brody, the Red Ranger for the next season of Power Rangers, so I drew this as a gift for him and the rest of the cast. He just left to New Zealand yesterday! I'm so proud of him, he's a hero of mine and now, he's gonna be a hero to a lot of others too!Red Ranger: Will Shewfelt

What i heard it possibly due to the Trini incident (basically putting an Asian in the Yellow Ranger role which is bad as that's racist, same with Zack with been Black in the Black Ranger role, both cases from Mighty Morphin') since 2007, Power Rangers has this rule for both cast and peopleΒ auditioning Β they have this ruling in casting that they can't have Black in the Black Ranger or Asians in Yellow Ranger roles, it's mainly cuz of Season 1 which the productors and cast management admit in 2007 (i think i have to watch HOPR again) that it was an error on their behalf and correct it for later series
