I never take offence to comments like those, since I know it's true, but whenever I think about making them more detailed like actual manga- I always think they'd be more suited for ACTUAL events, not our stupid shenanigans we do.
Can you imagine hardcore serious faces talking about how Cody vomited on his sister's white dress for prom night [cuz he thought it was a towel] one night when we were drinking and we tried washing it with bleach and hot water, but we didn't know it would shrink?
No, cuz it would be silly. So, simple faces are more easy for me to manipulate into the extreme emotions I sometimes draw on them.
