To the people who hate Hau and want every rival to be like Gary, I want to remind you that Hau has the decency to heal your Pokemon and not send the player scampering back to a different island after beating you in a battle. He also doesn't leave you broke, and offers to share his food sometimes.

I can relate to this, I'm playing Leaf Green right now and just so happen to be in a bad situation. I almost always seem to have just one Pokemon left (cubone) whenever somebody challenges me to a fight. Same things happening in X whenever I take the hard route back to route 7 from the palace. Got my ass kicked by a couple of furfrou.

i still enjoyed having that butt there. i kinda liked having him be such a butt and challenging me and hating my guts i want to have a rival that hates me pleaaaaaase! MUST HAVE HATEFULL RIVAAAAAL SO ITS MORE FUN TO FIGHT HIM.......its no fun fighting a sweet rival
