Little late, but there's no pun there. If anything, I see it having to do with how fierce the ocean can be, especially during a storm. At least, that's how I've always seen it. Originally I had her the child of a character from a book series, Vampirates by Justin Somper. One of the main character's names was Lorcan Furey. After my OC's revamping, I decided to make her just a regular Vampirate, but kept the name because I liked it as well as it'd be a lot harder to change it than leave it alone.


Sorry for giving you a headache over it. XD

EEEEEEEEEEE! The wait was worth it. She. Looks. Flippin'. GOREGOUS! I love everything about this, but especially those bangs. The way her front locks twist a bit and are so full.... gah, I love it! Strange thing to notice I know, but still. And you even kept her belt charms! Oo, liking those boots too with the way they're foot-fitting till the top and then get loose and floppy. I can't seem to express how much I'm in love with this picture. Thank you! Thank you for both the art and the chance at doing an art trade with you.

By any chance do you still have the lineart? I'd love to color this in if it's alright with you. Not like I can color this better than you though.

I'm not the best at hard shading I prefer the shoft edges using a water of blur tool. >.> It's difficult, not to mention I'm always paranoid that my color palatte is off.
