Just in time for Halloween~! I was going to wait until the 31st, but I recently discovered I wouldn't have had much time to finish the piece, so I finished it early (and am submitting now because likely I'd forget on the date itself, and would rather submit it sooner than later).

Never again. Never again am I doing a background like this. Urg. I like drawing characters just fine but backgrounds. Nooooooo. Though I will admit that I had fun with the leaves. Large file is large, and I suggest downloading for the full effect, but you obviously don't have to. Who am I to dictate the way you look at an image? To each his own, and all that jazz. Thanks so much for the support you guys have given me even though I've been super spotty in uploads lately. Like mentioned in my journal, school's been kicking my butt, and it's really hard to find time to draw while I've been packed down with homework and tests and stuff. That's what comes from taking 18 credits a semester.

Anyways it's a night of trick-or-treating at the Bloodstone Manor for the Gilmanns! Yay for Halloween spirit! We have Marah (17ish) who is supposed to be dressed as an old western frontier type girl (in purple--naturally), ninja!Marcus (9ish) who is super mad at pirate!Malachi(13ish) because he smeared caramel or toffee in his hair. Cliff(9) is Batman, and Reid(4-5ish) his little Robin. I decided not to dress Mr. Gilmann, in a costume. Mainly because I had no idea what I would have dressed him as--probably someone like Alfred. However, if I did, he'd just look like himself in a nice suit, and I doubt would have read as Alfred as much as well-dressed business man

On the age thing, yeahhhh.... >.> it isn't actually accurate, the Bloodstones are 500+ years old, they would certainly not physically look the ages depicted... unless I made it so their physical clock reset every century. Hmmm... maybe I will. Either way, they're my characters so I can do what I want! Lol. This is sorta just an excuse to draw young Bloodstones too, because kids are adorable.
