Actually, there's a bit of a story behind this one, and why there's a bit of a running gag that I'm scared of Delcatty.
A while ago, I was playing my pokemon Platinum version, and checking e-mail at the same time. I was riding around on my bike, and went into the grass, and the battle music started, so I turned my attention back to the screen since I figured that I'd watched the battle sequence enough times before. Then I heard this ungodly screech from my game, and I was like "Holy freeking crap, WHAT DID I JUST RUN INTO?!"
...
It was a Delcatty.
Seriously, listen to that thing's call without looking at it! It's creepy!

So, when there was a contest for creepy pokemon, you know which one I had to pick. XD

Same thing happened to my sister. I was in a rematch with Whitney in HeartGold and I said "aw, look, delcatty" then we heard the screech that made my sister jump a foot in the air.

It would probably succeed in starling me slightly, but because I know all PokΓ©mon cries from Bulbasaur to Arceus, it wouldn't scare the living crap out of me.

I get more freaked out listening to other cries than Delcatty. xD I'm a nerd!
