Hahaha - the couch was never given an official name - or mentioned at all - in canon. I once drew a picture where Mello wants to go back into the burning mafia headquarters to get the sofa out, and to really show that Mello bonded with that piece of furniture, I wanted him to have given it a name. Zeb seemed appropriate! I'm always surprised when someone new says 'Zeb' - I'm amazed how it's caught on so much!

no, the one I read was very short about Mello entering Mob headwuarters for the first time and seeing the striped couch and falling in love and they've become inseparable ever since. Something along those lines. I wonder if it was inspired by your comics. I wish I could find it again.

That's such a great idea with the morphs! That's the next stage, learning how to do that!
Oh, and I made Matt's vest, but I cannot make it conforming because when I go into setup in Poser to assign groups, the fecking thing crashes everytime! So unless Matty is just going to stand stock still with his arms out, it's no use

Ooh...I know a LITTLE bit about Poser's setup room--maybe you could send it to me and I could try my hand at rigging it? I was planning on re-texturing some other vest, but the actual shape of it would be nice to have.
As for morphs, I have the basic theory of how they're made, but not the actual application. I know it involves saving an OBJ file of the object in its fully-morphed state and an OBJ in its un-morphed state and then adding them together so that when you move the dial on the un-morphed one, it morphs...
