Some construction notes:
Dress made from $3 / yd heavy cotton from an outlet store, light green trim left over from my Deedlit costume, and $1 / spool grosgrain ribbon for the dark green. My boyfriend carved the tail out of foam, which I generously covered in fur. Red ball, a painted Christmas ornament. With the exception of the wig, I spent less than $30 on this!

Please could I ask you how you made the skirt part of the dress. I'm struggling with that part of the costume. Did you make a circle skirt or something similar and attach it to the top half?

It is a circle skirt and a very basic bodice top ^_^ I drafted it myself, but just look for "circle skirt how to" in Google, I'm sure a lot of tips will come up!
