All right, this was this week's big frustration. I had a very clear image in my head, I had it sketched out and all, but I still spent a lot, a LOT of time in this! (I read like five million tutorials that helped me a lot).

The other problem was the stock. I didn't want to be a conformist and deal with the first photograph that crossed my screen. I searched I think the whole deviantart site xD searching for a stock provider with the precise pose, dress and specially rules. I really don't want to be limitated by other people's ridiculous rules since this is my art.

I failed terribly in my search, lol!. So I took a million photos of my newest skirt (wich by the way rocks!), and a lame photograph of myself, haha. Yeah that's me. And merged it all together, trying to make it work. God, I spent so much time on this!!!

Also, this was my first attempt at using a source of light. Some people might say "duh, that's the easiest thing to do!" but I really had to come up with my own technique because I always had problems with the ones the tutorials were trying to teach me xD . I wanted to use it because it's the main characteristic that gives the image that dreamy feel.

I hope I got it well! I think this is the best representation of what I always wanted to do. I'm so messed up right now, mentally. This is like a breath of fresh air. I feel so relieved, actually. And the fact that I, for one second got over my self esteem issues, took a photograph and placed myself as the model, just makes it so much more personal. I'm in love with this image.

Ahh and I tried with that invisible watermark tutorial (yes! even that one!). It kind of works... I just hope it doesn't mess up the colors on someone else's computer.
