I think you need to make the ao on the abs blend in more.

it's not ambient occlusion on the abs, i painted it in. you're right i'll do better next time; gotta learn more!

I like her new hair, and the skin is definitely more tan... but it's got rather strong stripes on it now (like a really tight AO dirtmap effect)... I'd suggest a simple gaussian blur on the dark stripes... just to blend them a bit into the paler skin around them... a blur the same width as her linea alba would keep the definition, but make it look more natural.

The modeling and outfit are very nice and the weight map looks pretty good... I'd be a bit concerned about the weight maps on her elbows... they just don't deform quite right (but then, they almost never do).

i've also thought about using gaussian blur in those sharp ao areas, but with this kind of lighting (the bright 2 light sources w/ a batch of GI) i was afraid it would conceal the details on her abs.

but thanks a lot for the advice, i'll learn more and do better next time!

Yeah, if you blur too much it gets... blurry. But if you've got some layers going on in your texture painting app (whichever it may be) you can blur (just a bit) the dark lines and leave the skin details nice and crispy... but then, you've got to have a nice clean set of layers in the original texture files... and some people just "paint" them, all on 1 layer... which is great if you're able to do that... but leaves you with less options.

The belly colors look like blood - a wrong choice.

what stunning details~!
so sweet, a custom-Alacrity :}

You used 3d max + mudbox for her, like most of your other works~?

I had to look kotobukiya up - your modelling is remarkable and I hope one day some of your works become real :}

thanks a million! i'm glad you liked it!
yup, it's 3d max and mudbox like always (and a great deal of photoshop cuz i really want this to have the action figurine look).

and yeah i'm hoping to learn sculpting in polymer clay like those kotobukiya modellers (haven't got the time, though plus polymer clay is a rare stuff here in indonesia)
