Due to her parents always working to support the family, Addie and Faye had to care for their three younger siblings. Addie didn't mind, but she could never punish her young siblings, which caused tension between Faye and Addie. When Addie and Faye graduated high school, both decided it was time to leave home and start their own lives. Faye decided to study nursing aboard, while Addie moved to Millennium City to study Marine Biology.
