Illustration of part of a rp I did with Yelsah a while back. Since then I've been wanting to draw this scene/mood.
So I tackled it today, took me around 8h straight >~< it's the only way for me to finish something...

Here is a bit of the rp, for context...:

(...) the monkey blew a few notes of the hypnotic like tune he was going to be playing. Inside the basket the snakes stirred to life, eventually a small green head bobbed up to greet him, swaying back and forth and eliciting a smile from the monkey.

(…)As Siretha walked through the streets, the feint sound of a strange music caught her attention. And without really knowing why, she started following that sound through the dim lighted streets of Neema. As she got closer and closer to the source, the music filled her head, and all her body was moving by itself, swinging to that hypnotic sound.(…)

Sen's hesitant notes tripped and stumbled a bit as the snake suddenly appeared around the corner. She was obviously entranced by the sound. He hadn't realized it might effect snake people as well as normal snakes.(…)
