This lovely line art was drawn by *Drowning-Comic and I colored it to enter the June contest held by the #color-me-club .

Three days on the hair alone. Essential songs that were spun during the coloring process: Stars (Hear n' Aid), Fairies Wear Boots (Black Sabbath), Starman (David Bowie), Stargazer (Rainbow).

I was inspired by images of nebulas for the background. I used textured brushes and screentones (stamp tool) and built them and layered them to create the glowly, fluffy effect. All the tiny stars on the dress, hair and background were created with the same method as the one used on this old deviation: [link]
