Would this have anything to do with the fact that the original Skuld, of Nordic legend, was a valkyrie?
I'm surprised she's not decked head-to-toe in combat gear she made herself. I can already imagine a fully-grown Noble Scarlet helping reload a plasma rifle Skuld cobbled together ("I call it... the BFG-900,000!")
Her old outfit's color scheme, a lighter pink with red trim, would look awesome as a valkyrie uniform!

I think pink and red trim would look good. When I find the time, I'll also finish my Valkyrie Bell as well.

Remember, light pink. The deeper pink on her more recent outfit doesn't look good with red trim.
Valkrie Bell? Well... I dunno. I really didn't like her combat suit from the later manga, but whatever you see fit.
