Uhh, he lost his babyface. Striking profile now with gaunt cheeks and sorrow lines...or maybe smile lines? The years after the 5th Blight hardened him. I like this very much, it's one of my favourite Alistair interpretations.

You know, I didn't much care for Alistair's Inquisition model. I feel like Leliana and Morrigan came out looking much better/still like their old selves, while Alistair & Loghain were kind of hard to recognize by sight alone.
However, I think this painting has made me a convert. Damn, but he looks good! The quirked eyebrow and the hint of a smile are a perfect capture of his personality.

This is the first of your DA pieces where I didn't automatically know who it was, I'm afraid, though obviously a painting full of character.

I took a risk with him, using his Inquisition model in stead of the Origins or 2 model as a reference. I did a similar thing for my Leliana portrait.
Now that I have also included Fenris and Anders, I might actually do a second one of Alistair, but more like his "old" model.

I hope so! When Alistair walked in during Inquisition, I didn't realize it was supposed to be him at first - I was so disappointed. Each to their own though isn't it.
