Well that involves so many things: composition, line, shading, anatomy, perspective, color theory, and different mediums, that I'm not sure how to approach teaching the whole thing, especially since I'm not a master of it, what I know has come mostly from trial and error and I kind of started backwardsΒ with abstract stuff then moved to life drawing.Β I can show you my techniques with ink, which is what I draw most comfortably with, and what I learned in school about linear and atmospheric perspective and the construction of shadows, and some ways in which I construct my images. You should find something that you're passionate about to draw in order to make things fun and interesting, make time for life drawing and study the things in front of you and look at other artist's work, especially the work of masters,Β and see how they composed their images and how they used colors and so on.
