Announcing the new Our Time shoot. Been wanting to do this particular one for several weeks, and at last we managed to pull it together. It's a bit (a lot) different from what we had originally anticipated, and as such we ended up going down the 'broken dolls' theme rather than a direct illustration of any given scene in the story. We had a lot of fun, although are paying it for with exhaustion now.

Maru did all of the makeup work. I felt very much like one of her dolls. Better close up pics to come. ^^

Stay tuned, there's quite a hefty number of pics taken, although unfortunately the lighting was not what we'd wanted, so the editing process is a bit lengthier than we had hoped.

Excerpt from our fanfiction, Our Time is Running Out:
She had a couch to herself, dressed like a doll, surrounded by her dolls, all finely brushed and attired, cared after and loved as if they were her own children. In her head, perhaps they were. It wasn't until Light was within earshot that he could hear that she was actually talking to them as her children... in fact, she was preparing the dolls for the arrival of another.

“It’s going to a boy,” she said, “With red eyes…”

And Light decided that the best thing for his own deteriorating sanity at that point, was to stay as far away from Misa as humanly possible. It meant risking Warner drooling on him as he tried to dangle from the ceiling beams—but it was a risk Light was willing to take. Of course B saw Misa with her dolls, and decided otherwise.

“Oh~ I wanna plaaaay!” He crooned, and skipped happily over.
