Really? Is it any character in particular?
I used to play that game and really like the artist (xa-xa-xa) who has done a lot of the art for it, so there's definitely some influence there... : )

For me what I really liked about xa's work was the blocky/ flowy shape language. The bodies, hands, etc. are often very blocky, but he has a lot of gesture for things like hair. His poses for everything and even things like hands and feet are really dynamic. I think it looks really cool.
An artist who's similar to him too (or at least xa's past works) would be Takehito Harada, who worked on the disgaea game series, which is also an srpg similar to wakfu. His past work has that same blockyness, but also pointyness...
I really love both of them and have done a few studies of their artworks before.
I suggest you look up the artworks for Disgaea 1. I think its where that blockyness is most visible. Or just Takehito Harada's works in general. You might like it. : )
