Another old sketch that I (sorta) finished today.. Nothing impressive, has lots of flaws, who cares. Now if you want to see something fun, here's what the first sketch looked like: WIP
What??? It's freaking terrifying, she looks like a zombie or something, and the thing is all of my first sketches look this way. I have never seen a single person with rough sketches this scary, I probably spent a good couple of hours on it too.. ^^

Here's another one for Pearlescent , this is the sketch for it: WIP48 pearlescent Jesus, she looks like she wants to stab you and eat your soul.. : O

This is incredible, and I just learnt something from you, as I never tried to blur a very close fragment of a model in a painting to show not only movement, but strength and impact of a model. I will try to do something that will involve this kind of a close-to-recipient position, because this has great potential. But I first want to draw myself killing horribly a cutey pinky colourful pony, who will be representing my husband. I just realised that the idea came to me because I see a cute cartoon horse as a perfect representation of my husband. He is goofy in a sweet way. But then I'll try to use this blur idea in another painting. Or maybe I'll use it in the painting of me killing my ponyhusband.

There's something about rough works that just hits me in the right spot. It's probably the loose feeling they radiate, the feeling of letting go in your art; and that's pretty beautiful

When it comes to things like this, to me it's just more fun not worrying about finishing things, about everything looking perfect and also it gives me feeling of "oh hey, I'm awesome, I finished something today, yay!". Other than that, generally as long as I'm doing it properly, the more time I spend on things the better they get, there is always this feeling of "wow, an hour ago this looked ten times worse than it does now". Even if I think it's finished and I can't think of adding anything to it, if I were to sit down and force myself to put a couple of extra hours into it, it would definitely look a great deal better any time, at least I think so anyways.

My sketches are not loose at all though lol, my sketching brush doesn't even have pen pressure. :V

Oh, I also think the same way! Mmm I'm not very good in cleaning thins up though, takes too much time IMO. I'd want to do something like the ones I normally do before where I start with a rough sketch then clean lineart then colors then secondary ones. I don't think I'm dilligent enough to that one now though ahaha
