I love this. Everybody's basically already said what I was going to say, so I'm not going to be redundant, but I love this. Especially the feathers and the markings and the colors.
<3 draft horses.

Wow! You have great anthro skills yourself! Horses aren't the easiest critters to work with, but you did a wonderful job. The anatomy is believable and attractive, and the coat patterns are a fabulous touch. Great fursona! I like your choice of species and markings very much- Very original. ^__^ I'm particularly liking the various tufts of fur.
My only irritation: The fingers. They seem very thick to me, and I dislike that there are only four per hand. Of course, since anthropomorphic horses don't exist, this is purely a preference issue, and there is nothing wrong with the way you've drawn it.
Keep it up! All of your work is lovely.

Very good colouring; you've made the gold look so vibrant.
I love the whole chucky shape
What I do in photoshop, to avoid flattening the picture etc, is to save-for-web.
File, and then theres loads of saving choices. Save, Save as, and Save for Web. It will give you choices of file type, jpg, gif and png, and compression, and then size changing.
It should be the same on any version of photoshop, though this is the way I've done it on Photoshop elements 1 and 2, then photoshop 7. I hope thats of some help.
Love the picture, and the fursona. I think mine would be a heavey horse, if I could work up to making one again.

easy... photoshop use layers... normaly the first layer is the background. but when u add text photoshop adds automaticly a new layer. photoshop pictures with layers get the name .pps or .psd and deviantart just know .jpg...
the easiest way is:
1. open the pic u want save
2. press ctrl + e until there's just the background layer left
3. save as jpg :3 but save it in the biggest way ... ._.
well my photoshop is crappy old.... it gots the option copy from all layers - for that me press ctrl + a and then shift + ctrl + c

Very nicely done. The arms are just a little short for the body, but the rest of your proportions are very good. I like the form, the fingers could use a bit more detail, as could the chest, some of the shading is a bit too subtle to make out the form properly. Other than that, it's a very nicely done piece. You might try getting a copy of Grey's Anatomy, it's helped me a lot in my work, or you could look at some of the renaisance sculpture and painting, stuff done by Michelagelo is a very good reference for anatomy. Drawing from a reference will do wonders for you. But you've done a pretty good job on this. Better than the pic I did of my fursona o.O
I like this piece, it's very pretty ^_^ I'd say it's an 8 out of 10

Thanks, I'm glad it turned out well! I see what you mean about the arms, I'll keep that in mind on my next piece.
Also, I've been wanting to do commissions (rather affordable ones, IMHO), but I probably can't unless there's some way to do it without giving up too much personal info. I could get back to you later if you want, if I start doing them.
