As you can see in the fullview, the actual Prisma combo sheet is sideways. This is so you can print the image on a standard piece of printer paper and use it as a reference while you draw.

Prismacolor pencils are excellent for detailed, smooth shading because of the many gradients you can create by finding matching sets of pencils.

In this reference sheet, I've compiled my favorite combinations of Prismacolor colored pencils. Of course, you can make many other sets of Prismas that match, or modify these to fit your specific needs.
These colors come in the 120-pack of pencils, but with a little extra blending you can make these combinations work without some of the in-between colors.
