XD I think that Hora always looks so cool XDSmall info...
for those who don't know...
he is from a japanese visual kei group called 'Schwarz stein'
their music is pretty much 'darkwave' <- the only techno music I can listen to XDD;
also, their music is produced under 'Midi:Nette' <- Mana's label also producing 'Malice Mizer' and 'Moi dix Mois' XD
but from what I've heard, they disbanded a few months ago... >.<
but Hora-san is going solo
and I can't wait to hear what kind of music will it be X3

I love the two different eyes, that was the first thing that struck me when I saw it. horn, hair, and tatooes are done really well. I think the face shape in the right side is a little too smooth and limp, but I'm not sure what he really looks like so I can't say. Same with the lips, I think they look a bit effeminate, but I don't know what he really looks like. The nose could use a bit more shading, maybe. but I also love the clothes, just getting a simple thing like that right really adds to the pic. Nice!! I'd love to see some sort of background though!

the right side? *looks* on the original it doesn't look like that. I think that it's my scanners fault, I scan in grey-scale, and I can't adjust the contrast 'cause the drivers for the scanner don't exist for WIN XP.
the lips are like that
I could add some shading on the nose, but I'm not sure how it's supposed to look, cause the only reference piccy that I had of him is 'high contrast' on it, he doesn't even have a nose, and you can't see anything except the eyes, lips and the tattos, so I had to draw one that would fit in XD;
background? I thought about it too, since it looks too empty. but I don't know what to do :/

Ahh, I gotcha. That must have been tough working from such a high-res photo!! And I have seen the makeup and such for lips and eyebrows, but I don't follow a lot of people like that. Then, good job with the photo, because I could really tell!!
The background? I would probably do something light, so it doesn't take away from the rest of the pic, or blurry or abstract. It's a bit hard to do a scene or anything since it wasn't planned, but I think abstract could be cool, if maybe you smeared light pencil around with a tissue in some patterns or something. But I don't want you to ruin an already awesome picture, so take your pick!! Good luck with whichever!

It's a very gothic picture and really like the texture involving the picture and the background around it. I cant tell if that is like a horn or a halo she is wearing but the mistery behind it is sort of cool. Nice picture, did you make it?
