I'm a fan of Beatrix too, since she just makes me think. There are small details that makes me think she fits in with Negi's party better than Akamtsu's letting on, being one of the rare humans at Ariadne and her magic oddly enough working against those demons like Yue's did. I do like to think Bea's deeper personality and connection to Emily lets her see such a thing though, and perhaps point it out at Emily without risk of being verbally abused by the class rep XD

Well she Is the Main Badass among the younger generation. The most experienced and deadliest fighter, maybe except Kaede, her opinion carries a lot of weight
Well as for her magic I think it's Just because she is human, Code of Lifemaker seem to have absolute control over Anything born or made in Magical World, since Bea is a pure-blooded human CoL have no control over her, or at least not as much as on other beings in this world. [chuckles] Not that Bea cares much for the verbal abuse XD She was with Emily since they both were little so she knows that Emily just wants to hide her embarrassment and isn't really angry XD

It kind of always feels like the childhood friend is that other character who knows the whole time XD The only one who knows why they act the way they do. I read Truth and Dying on fanfiction.net, and thought about that at teh time cause of the mention that Emily always felt strongly for Yue but hid it underneath harsh words that only people close to her like Bea could read through.

Well that Childhood friend lived with you for so long that they know you inside out, besides Bea seem to be much calmer, observant And sensible than Emily, even when they were kids she was the calmer one who didn't go into hysterics (the part where Emily's mother was "dying" of flu, or some other minor thing was hilarious XD) I'm wiling to bet that when Emily will be back and Yue will embrace her, Bea will be standing to the side, smiling and happy at Yue and Emily's happiness ^^

"We will avenge you Yue-san" "But Yue-san is alright" ah I just love this overreactive streak in Emily XD Just imagine how she must have reacted to the recording of Negi vs. Rakan fight, especially when Negi seemed to have been beaten XD Ah there is this trope Red Oni Blue Oni, it's about such pairs of characters where one is passionate and hot-blooded while the other is calm and never lets his/her emotions get the better of him... in fact both Yue and Bea would be great Blue Onis to Emily's Red Oni. Well balance out the scale, yes, but I think stopping Emily from doing something REALLY stupid is Bea's main objective XD

Yeah Rakan was too cool to live... and if he didn't leave the stage Negi wouldn't have an opportunity to shine XD It cracked me up how Chisame called him "A guy so broken it's not even funny" XD Ah The Black Devil (I just love creating nicknames for characters XD) it's a really awesome stuff, not very rare in shonens but it's really sweet to see little cute Negi turn into a bloodthirsty, revenge-thirsty demon who wipes floor with even biggest badasses

It's amazing that Negi doesn't look ten anymore XD He's been in his other forms so many times he looks older than everyone else, lol.
