Description
The Pyramid of Kukulcan at Chichen Itza, called El Castillo by the Spanish, is probably the most famous pyramid in Yucatan, Mexico. It is even one of the 7 wonders of the modern world. It is a square pyramid, 55 m by 55 m and 30 m high. A total of 365 steps lead up to the small temple on the summit (from all four sides together), one step for every day of the year.
