"Capper's the name. Charming's my game."

It's Capper Dapperpaws, the best Abyssinian ever (and perhaps the only one we got to see in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (apart from the comics).). He was once a swanky Aristocat, living the high-life with pride and dignity in the feline kingdom of Abyssinia, until the Storm King came along and conquered it. A deal gone wrong left Capper penniless and in a lifelong debt with the Storm King. As a result, he relied on his wit and charm, distracting unsuspecting victims from his quick hands and swift tail, whether in the Abyssinian capital of Panthera with a gang of "cat" burglars or the desert settlement of Klugetown on his own. Capper's crimes aren't driven by malice. At his core, he feels a deep insecurity at his fall from grace, and believes his appearance dictates his status.

Then one day, after meeting the Mane Six in Klugetown (and almost selling them to the town's mob boss, Verko, to pay off his debt), Capper has a change of heart and a change in perspective after Rarity surprises him with a generous gesture as thanks for helping them earlier. He tried to lure Tempest Shadow away, and then joined our pony heroes in the battle against the evil Storm King. And after the storm-obssessed warlord was destroyed, Capper was free and a new lease on life (as well as a new cape and top hat). He is one cool cat.

This smooth-talking (and singing) cat is my favorite My Little Pony movie character. He's cool. He's charming. He's relatable. Not to mention, he's a sapient, bipedal, tiger-sized cat. I would say you'd never expect to see one of these creatures, but then again, My Little Pony and Friends introduced us to Catrina - who might've been the inspiration behind Capper's species (he used to be different kinds of animals, like a honey badger, a ferret, a Siberian huskey, and a fox named Mendax). He might've tried to sell the Mane Six, but considering that he was deep in debt with the Storm King and Verko, and of course, after Rarity offered him a generous gesture, he saw the light and truly became the friend the ponies needed. I only wish we saw more of him. And even though he made cameos in the show, he was always in the same pose. They're should've been an episode where he still has to deal with the greedy Verko or he would've introduced us to more Abyssinians. It was also because of his appearance, that Abysinnians have become a favorite race of creatures in Equestria. There's so much untapped potential they could've given us in the cartoon.

Here's my vector of Capper in the style of the show. I've been wanting to make a vector of this cool tomcat since his debut, and after his cameo appearance in the show, I had a perfect reference of him Adobe Flash style. What kept me from going for it was how he was in the same pose with his new outfit for all of his cameos, and because of that, I wasn't properly motivated enough to make a vector. However, after the comic introduced us to new Abysinnian characters - including another favorite kitty - I decided to take the risk. It was a long and complex process, but I managed to use as much of the only TV show references of him provided, while using a screencap from the movie for his pose. This is as accurate to MLP:FIM's Flash style as I could make it. I did have to make some improvisations here and there, but I believe it's PURR-fect.

Consider this my first Abyssinian vector. I am considering on making more vectors of Capper, as well some of the other Abysinnians in the comic's season 10. And I am also thinking about making Abyssinian OCs, one who will be a villain in one of my fanfics. And you'll see more of this vector in other upcoming projects.
