OK, I've had this one on the back-burners ever since I binge-watched the last season of "Bojack Horseman". Now, please bear in mind that this show is DEFINITELY for adults and handles very dark themes like depression and death.

But here's the thing: normally, I despise adult cartoon shows. The crude humor is just so lazy and stupid to me that I tend to avoid shows that utilize that form of entertainment. And, at first, Bojack Horseman kind of started out that way. There was sex, cussing, drug use, and other things that I don't like when handled like they're 'no big deal'. Yet something kept me engaged. I watched every episode and found, *gasp*, this show has CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and HEART. Something that not many adult shows have (at least none that I've seen). It tackles some very dark issues and handles them with the care they deserve which I find very comforting.

Now to the picture itself: my favorite character in "Bojack Horseman" is without a doubt Princess Carolyn. She's a strong female character who doesn't NEED to say "I don't need no man" in order to be a kick butt woman. She's ambitious, driven, supportive, caring, passionate, and even flawed in ways that I tend to relate with. She keeps her personal problems to herself and doesn't want to burden anyone else, but at the same time those problems are eating her alive and we even see her break down in one episode. That being said, she is an example of a strong female character who can still show femininity without being labeled as 'weak'.

So, naturally, I took my favorite character from that show and thought about who she'd interact with in Equestria. The obvious choice would be Capper since they're both anthropomorphic cats, so she'd find common ground there. But after hearing his angelic voice and seeing his graceful dancing, the manager side of Princess Carolyn's brain took over and she saw a golden opportunity to make him a star and get that sweet 10% of his profits. They become a duo, building a management empire in Equestria to help other creatures showcase their talent and make some serious bits!
