All seems well. Princess Twilight Sparkle has ushered in a new age of peace and harmony in Equestria and beyond with help from her very best friends and the most powerful magic ever, the Magic of Friendship. As the Princess of Friendship, it’s Twilight’s duty to make sure everypony feels like they belong by building and nurturing friendships all over Equestria. She and her best friends have even changed the hearts of villains, bullies, and others who brought misery throughout the land, and offered them friendship. It seems that all is well, and no evil will ever emerge...

However, all is not well, and not all villains have changed for the better. Even as we speak, the only villains who refused to change their ways have been summoned by the ancient evil that once ruled the land before Equestria, and they are to work together to defeat the Mane Six. The Legion of Doom, they say, is poised on taking over Equestria and have their revenge on Twilight Sparkle and her friends. So ponies beware the baddest of the bad, the cruelest of the cruel, and the most depraved and psychopathic of fiends. Evil is growing and it is more powerful than before.

This is my version of the Legion of Doom. As you can see, King Sombra's returned, and, oh, lookey here, the Storm King's joined the team too. What a surprise! I'll explain everything from here.

Grogar: The ancient emperor who once ruled the land that would become Equestria with fear and evil has united all the remaining enemies of Equestria. He has seen how the Mane Six defeated them, and he plans on using their "strategy" to best them in turn. By working together, these fearsome fiends might succeed in conquering Equestria at last. So now, they are all under the mercy of the Father of Monsters. But, little does Grogar know, betrayal is in their dark thoughts. He has no idea of their plan of using his own Bewitching Bell against him when the time is right.

Chrysalis: The former queen of the Changelings, the vengeful Chrysalis tried to create her own army when she was teleported by Grogar as part of his new plan. At first, she wasn't very excited about it. But if it means having revenge on Twilight Sparkle, her friends, and especially Starlight Glimmer, she has quarm about it. Of course, she doesn't trust Grogar, she doesn't trust anypony (explains why she doesn't want to share love), so she and her fellow villains plan on betraying him. Chrysalis will have revenge and all the love she can stomach.

Lord Tirek: The power-hungry centaur who came to Equestria a millenium ago to steal pony magic, Tirek was imprisioned in Tartarus for his crimes, and after two failed attempts to gain back power, he and his protege, Cozy Glow, they were transported out of prison by Grogar for his agenda. Tirek knows much about him, and is pleased to gain some magic. However, he and the other villains don't trust the evil emperor, and once they betray him, they will have their revenge on Twilight Sparkle and her friends, and he will absord all the magic in Equestria.

Cozy Glow: The precious but psychopathic Pegasus filly who tried to use friendship in order to gain power over Equestria was transported with her partner-in-crime, Tirek, by Grogar to play a part in his agenda to work together. Cozy knows that friendship can help the villains in taking over the world, but it won't be easy to persuade them into being cooperative, that is until the subject of having revenge on Twilight Sparkle and her friends is mentioned. First, Cozy and her conspirators are going to double-cross Grogar. Then, she can become the Empress of Friendship.

King Sombra: The dark lord of the Crystal Empire was resurrected by Grogar in order to play a part in his diabolical scheme. Although he has heard of the first emperor of Equestria, Sombra prefered to rule the realm by himself. Of course, this resulted in another defeat by the Mane Six. However, despite Grogar using Sombra's destruction as an example to keep the other villains in line, he decided to bring him back, and this time, Sombra conceeded with going along with the plan. Then, after the others revealed their plan to betray Grogar, he agreed, knowing that he will gain back power again.

Storm King: The conquerer of the lands south of Equestria was revived by Grogar as part of his his evil plot. The Storm King never fancied the idea of working with others, since for him it was always everycreature for themselves. But after he was told that he would have revenge on the ponies who took down his empire, and after being given magic of his own, he consented, more or less. In time, he and the other villains have a plot of their own: to betray Grogar and take Equestria and beyond for themselves. This storm is coming back.

The Mane Six and all of Equestria and beyond are in great peril. These powerful psychopathic villains must be stopped once and for all.

As I mentioned, this is my version of Grogar's legion. King Sombra is resurrected again, and the Storm King is also brought back. Something tells me that if Hasbro had enough money to bring Liev Schreiber back in, the Storm King would have been recruited. What a shame. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of Brony authors who went ahead with that idea already.
