Description Winter Goodbye

That's it for this winter. I was up on the Krippenstein plateau last night in hope to get some better shots than back in December. Well, at least the trees were covered in a little snow. Unfortunately again the forecast of good weather the evening as well as the moment of sunrise were covered in fog. This one is about 30 minutes after sunrise and you can still see some haze around the distant mountains.
I also wanted to capture this one on Velvia 50 but when I put the dark slide back in crunched my film sheet and it popped out of the holder. And as this is so funny to do I did it a second time as well. I don't know why this happened twice in a row - I've never had this problems before. I tried to recreate what I might have done wrong but wasn't able to find an answer. No I will have to check all my loaded holders to see if they are alright. Maybe some of you LF shooters out there have a clue.

Yep winter is gone but this photo is amazing. I like the fact that the snow is unspoiled. Very beautiful!

The only thing touching the snow there were a lot tracks of snow bunnies. Wasn't too easy to find a comp without them in it

Aren't there wolves in the wild?

Nope ... not around here. Austria is a relatively safe place as far as predators are concerned.

Here in Romania, they still are. It definitely makes things more interesting.
