Thank you for sharing this work with us. I love giving praise to artists who deserve it. And with that artwork and quite a lot more in your gallery I thought I had to get started somewhere and work my way through the landscapes you have created. Thank you for sharing this with us

Overall
Vision
Originality
Technique
Impact
In a time where flashy CGI designs are much more appreciated than true art we browse through the tens of pages of "art" only to see piles of garbage posing as art ,we don't hurt the artist because that wouldn't be helpful for anyone but we all know that a picuture of the sunset with a lovely little quote (which even though beautiful) isn't art, I look at it I go"meh" and then I move on.Art is a means of expressing your fellings and/or ideas, and some of the stuff we see every day consist of just a pretty picture ,that is not enough, one must look at a piece and go from bored to any other feeling or idea ,you know art is good when it changes your state ,even if you just raise your eyebrow in interest. Before I go any further I confess that I consider my own art to be doodling ,with little or no emotion in it ,so yes my stuff is garbage too.But *andrekosslick's painting here is indeed one of those few pieces that send a surge of emotion through you at first sight ,for me that emotion was tranquility ,the mountains ,the river ,every part of it sent my thoughts to a serene moment in space and time where problems dissapear. My second thought was "WHAT SKILL!!!" I am glad I had the privilege to see such a sight ,it reminds me of the traditional art I grew up with ,there was no photoshop then ,no tablets ,just brushes and a canvas, no undo ,no redo ,and yet amazingly it was indeed made with a pc and a tablet ,reproducing something like this on a pc to me is like creating an artificial heart it does all the right things but through a machine.I give it five stars for vision because I think that it takes inspiration to create something like this and it sure does come in a short supply most of the time.Years ago this concept would have been far from original paintings of nature were everywhere ,but now they were replaced by giant robots with lightsabers fighting goblin ninjas or stuff like that so this is indeed something original ,at least here on DA ,so here are another 5 stars.Techinique? ....please 5/5.Impact .....do I have to say it?
Truly an oasis in the middle of the desert

It is very interesting and true. What you report over the value and the task of art. For every person has an idea. And only if it has the capacity. To transfer this idea inein picture. Then the idea speaks as a picture to the other person. No large idea is certain in my work. Only my small wish for beauty in imagination. That you this small realized idea. Give such a kind judgment. That makes my work more honor than earns. Thank for the gift of your philosophical words. Thanks that you noted my work. And i,m sorry for my sad english, friend.
