I was not aware of the ridiculous number of cherry blossom trees in Washington. Not until I asked my Japanese friend what are those beautiful flowers blooming everywhere around the area. I've always thought that sakura only grows in Japan, man I'm stupid.It's already spring, but it's still terribly cold in Auburn. The flowers are already blooming beautifully around the campus though. Our campus is in the middle of nowhere but damn, this place is incredibly beautiful. Though my friend told me that the prettiest sakura in Washington grows at University of Washington. I wanna transfer go there someday..

But here I am, surfing around the web, watching new anime, painting my nails purple for no good reason and munching on fortune cookies. Bought a whole package of it at Korean market. Screw the fortune, I like the cookie.

Sepia is a palette much abused by photographers and other artists everywhere as a gimmick to give their work gravity. You have renewed my faith in it by using it so well here, in color choice reflecting narrative content.

i love this! the style matches the character that you have there, the eyes are not colorful but they have so much feeling. i also like the rumpled feel of the hair. this feels like an old japanese artwork. awesome!

They are really pretty to look at xD But the funny thing is I didn't know it was a cherry blossom tree until it bloomed. It was kinda funny to see it and just be all woah! Those are cherry blossoms Cx
