A little about HEAD LOPPER:

Norgal meets a few priests who are less than holy. We don't spend much time with them in issue one, and while we will see these guys again, they aren't very important. So a snippet of their background...

The island this takes place on is small and secluded. There is no separation between church and state. The religion on the island started out as something resembling Christianity but over time, like many things, it has been molested and molded into something grotesque. And now they're stuck with these creepers.
