Hi, I push it to the max of the histogram and check on the monitor on the 5D for flashing red bits and then dial it down a half stop from there.
Then I push it back out in ACR or LR. Sounds weird, but i like to retain the max detail at capture, then i can mess aboout as much as I like with the data in post. (Always at 16 bit)
