I personally think you sould have left the letter on the table top, floor, crumpled to the side, with her looking over at it; something to tie it in to the previous scene/ photo, something to make it a little more feeling. It just feels slightly lacking to me, but perhaps it is just me.

I'm digging the story behind the photo and the overall execution.
But I wonder how you did those colours of the wall, was the photo edited or does it originally look like this?
