So recently, a model of Zoey with an open jacket (ala the Sacrifice comic, but more realistic) was made and released to the modding public ( www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?fi… ) . While I personally prefer that thing zipped up, I immediately saw potential in this model in regards to scenes from the Sacrifice comic.
With that in mind, I decided to go for recreating one of my favorite scenes ( www.l4d.com/comic/comic.php?pa… ) from the rather touching end. Came out pretty well, I must say. Joint tool really came in handy here to add actual "wind flowing" detail. Certainly made posing Zoey a heck of a lot of fun. And the lighting really is something that reminds me of them SFM works. Like that.
A note must be made that Zoey's open jacket was fully modeled only just so much. The original picture has gaping holes showing through her jacket the way I posed her. Those were filled in in post via Paint.NET in a not too shabby fashion.
Has been adjusted once due to matters of brightness. I blame my laptop and deception of things looking better when the screen is tilted forward.
