Description have you ever had a dream where you were falling from a high distance without some sort of stoping device (parachute, wings, etc) and tho you couldnt see the end, you knew it was comeing but you were fine with it?

that's sort of what inspired this little self-portrait

originally i was gonna add like clouds or something to the background, but i got lazy. besides the blank white abyss sort of goes hand-in-hand with the whole "cant see the end" part

done w/ colored pencils that were slightly touched up in photoshop cause my scanner makes everything bland ><

usually i have a hard time drawing facial expressions, but i've just had this dream/sensation so often that its become part of my soul

Haha nah. Nothing that has to do with physical ability. I just haven't been able to draw for years... I don't know why...

thats like my entire life untill recently. ive just been doodleing in school like crazy to the point where i had to get an entire binder just for scrap paper to doodle on and eventually my doodles went from bad stick figures to moderatly acurate depictions of the human body.

granted, its taken me 8 years to get to the point where i am now, which is still far below the average level of quality for someone in college going for an art degree, but that's completely besides the point.

the point is REPETION! just start drawing again and eventaully quality will come with time and patience
