So the second last panel is a rare example of a picture that works totally fine in the uncensored version. Not really significant. Just a rarity.So I'm really trying to nail the body language and pacing with these pages. Hope it's coming off. Like Ukyo's bra.

There is a certain irony here.
Shampoo has to marry Ranma or kill Ranko if she's to be accepted by her own people again. Kodachi is insane.
Ranma on the other hand cared about Ukyo as a friend (he thought she was a boy (due to his dad's sexist teachings of how girls were me thinks)), and he'd come to truly care about Akane.
So yeah... Ukyo and Akane no longer seeing each other as rivals, is perhaps the one good thing to come out of this.

Huh wonder what Ukyo's starring at in the last panel exactly. Guess that will become clear in the next page as otherwise this is just a continuation from 172 which I already gave my thoughts on. I guess this one makes it more clear that Akane is still a bit more shy about getting it on with Ranma as it were but I can't imagine would be too against Ukyo's plan if it means really getting with him but guess we'll find out the plan and if the two really go along with it soon enough.

It almost seems like Akane is fighting the brainwashing. She is one of the most stubborn of the characters. Right up there with Ranma and Ryoga.

Interesting, that as property, seducing Ranma seems to be signs of free will you normally wouldn't expect, then again, Ranma has more than likely be treating them as people... even though his father filled his head with some pretty sexist beliefs about ladies. This WOULD result in some idiocycracies popping up in their brainwashing.
