Boromir costume nearly all completely hand made by me from scratch, from the Chainmail and Garments, to the Leatherwork and trims. Lothlorien Cloak by Stansborough.
This costume took me most of 2012 to put together and involved countless hours of research and sourcing materials to get the best quality Boromir costume I could. Many improvements and upgrades still to go!

So I'm sill pretty new to DA and have never done a critique, but I just can't pass this up. I'm going to try to do better than just writing how awesome this is. First off, excellent choice of materials for the costume, especially the Fellowship cloak. As I recall from my own costume research, the exact fabric for the cloak is a knit? Many people just go for the right color but your fabric actually looks like it has the right construction. It makes a huge difference to get both correct! The tunic, gloves, and bracer don't look the least bit costume-y, which is also impressive, and I especially love the detail on the bracer. As for the pose and facial expression, I think you did a brilliant job of recreating the tension of that moment in the film when Boromir retrieves the ring from the snow and Aragorn has his hand on his sword. Your riveted gaze reflects both the strength and weakness of Boromir's character. Well done!
