Here are the costumes I made for this years Red Carpet Tours Costume Party for the next Hobbit film, The Desolation of Smaug at the Roxy Cinema in Wellington, New Zealand.I thought I would go with something I haven't seen done this year and did Merry and Pippin from Bilbo's birthday party in The Fellowship of the Ring right after the Dragon Firework explodes in their faces.
Both outfits made by me including all the red embroidered lines on Merry's waistcoat which took some time to do :S.
Myself as Merry and friend Rod as Pippin.

This is brilliant! Usually I find it rather boring with all the more or less identical copies of movie costumes, but this is certainly a new twist - love it!
