Here is another painting from my library show going on right now. This has to be my favorite out of the set. I like the amount of detail i put into it and that I successfully pulled off several lighting effects that i hadn't done before.Related content

I adore people who can paint traditionally. I never really worked with acrylics myself, but this kinda makes me wanna try again^^

thanks! I never thought i'd like painting until i gave it a try. I tried digital painting out but found it to difficult ._. My favorite medium has to be oil because it doesn't dry nearly as fast as acrylic, but it's toxic and my dog would eat my paint and die so i am constrained to acrylic for now

Oh really? I always found digital art a lot easier than traditional - I am just not so afraid of making mistakes because when working digitally you can always fix it somehow xD (or just undo when making a mistake XD)
I never tried oil, but yeah, the quick drying time of acrylic is so annoying.
Aww man, doggy, why would you do that ;__; In that case acrylic really sounds like the better alternative - but that still can't be healthy for him to eat?

I love the sliver of light coming through the trees that lands on the water. Nicely done!
